Profhilo and Seventy Hyal are two of my most requested treatments, and understandably, clients often ask what the actual difference is. Both are hyaluronic acid based skin boosters, but they're not interchangeable. Here's how I break it down.
Profhilo
Profhilo is one of the most well-established names in skin bio-remodelling. It's known for its unique, slow-release formulation, which spreads evenly beneath the skin after injection, working to stimulate the skin's own collagen and elastin production over time. Rather than sitting in one spot, it disperses to hydrate and remodel the treatment area from within.
Clients tend to love Profhilo for the way it improves overall skin quality: firmer, smoother, more supple skin with that unmistakable glow. It's typically delivered across a small number of strategic injection points, allowing the product to spread naturally.
Best suited for: clients with skin laxity, crepiness, or a loss of firmness, particularly those wanting a noticeable improvement in skin tightening and quality rather than hydration alone. It also works beautifully on the neck, hands, and décolletage, not just the face.
Seventy Hyal
Seventy Hyal is another hyaluronic acid based skin booster, but its formulation and technique differ from Profhilo, meaning it delivers a slightly different result. It's a treatment I often use for clients whose priority is deep hydration and skin quality, with a texture and delivery designed to support the skin's natural moisture levels and resilience.
Best suited for: clients focused primarily on hydration, radiance, and improving overall skin texture, particularly those with dehydrated or dull-looking skin who aren't necessarily dealing with significant laxity.
So, What's the Real Difference?
The simplest way I explain it to clients: both treatments improve skin quality using hyaluronic acid, but Profhilo leans more toward remodelling and firming, while Seventy Hyal leans more toward hydration and radiance. The right choice depends on what your skin needs most right now.
Some clients only ever need one. Others benefit from a plan that uses both at different points in their skincare journey, or alongside polynucleotide treatments, depending on how their skin changes over time.
How I Help You Choose
This is exactly why every treatment starts with a proper consultation. I look at your skin's texture, elasticity, hydration levels, and your overall goals before recommending a treatment plan, because the "best" skin booster is always the one that's right for your skin specifically, not a one-size-fits-all answer.
Not sure whether Profhilo or Seventy Hyal is right for you? Book a consultation and let's figure it out together.
